It’s amazing that Tom McArthur has spent 50 years developing a paw paw cream to cure serious ailments from eczema to migrains, arthritis to burns.

    Hi,
I ordered some products at least 5 weeks ago and still have not received anything.
I was wandering if someone could please contact me.

    • Martin Roach says:

      Hi Antoinette

You should have received a newsletter late last week updating you on delivery dates. If you have any further queries feel free to contact us at 1300 309 105.

      McArthur Natural Products.

  2. Frank Seidl says:

Where is McArthur Natural Prodocts situated and do you have a Mail address ?

  3. Simo Tomic says:

My naive daughther, as meny other naive Australians, bought this crap for me to kue my arthritis in my joints.
U never trust iliterate people who try to make money chitting people and it proved in this case I am right.
This crap does not dicrease my arthritic pain not even a promil.
It a simple moisturiser and not so good as meny others much chiper you can find on the market.

    • Sandra says:

One born everyday! That’s me! I also bought this overpriced ineffective stuff. Used it all. Nothing, zilch.
The face cream wasn’t equal to what I can buy for $10 much less $29.95 and left my face feeling tight and dry.
Their website seems full of glowing testimonials. No doubt some are genuine –or is it the placebo effect? Is this site being bombarded by their workers, family and friends?

  4. Paul Carpenter says:

Sorry but i have used this product now for 4 weeks on my 3 year old son who has eczema and we have had no results. There has been no relief for him and his skin has not changed. We apply in the morning and half hour before bed. I am very disappointed as i honestly thought this would be the one home made remedy that actually worked. We get better results with normal moisturisers and they are a lot cheaper.

    • Jessica says:

Did you use the cream or the soap? I’ve been reading his facebook page and it seems like soap is the way to go for eczema. My friend has been using the soap for her eczema and it has cleared, but I guess results are differennt for everyone.

    Hi

We have been unaware that our customers have been posting on this site to date, but we are happy to answer any queries via our phone number on 1300 309 105.

In regards to the comments from Simo and Paul, we have delivered the majority of our pre-orders and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Unfortunately given some people’s skin and blood types the products do not work for everyone. For objective feedback on our products we encourage any interested consumers to visit our facebook site at mcarthur natural products.

    • Sandra says:

      Hi
Objective feedback on the Facebook site for McArthur Natural Products??
You have got to be kidding, Martin.
Some of the claims are completely incredible and so far fetched as to be laughable. Do enlighten us? What does a blood type have to do with a topically applied cream or soap?
      Please!

      • Bright says:

Did you follow his instruction carefully? I wouldn’t be against your comments but I understand that if it works for other people or even a lot of , it’s not guarantee that it may work you well. You have to test and trial. Sorry to hear that.

  8. Martin Roach says:

In regards to the comments from Simo and Paul, Whilst we have had some fantastic feedback in regards to our products, unfortunately individual results may vary. We are disappointed that the products have not had the desired results for you and wish you all the best for in the future.

For objective feedback on our products we encourage any interested consumers to visit our facebook site (mcarthur natural products).

  9. Jessica says:

Tom has a facebook page called McArthur Natural Products and also a website. Some of the posts sound pretty remarkable. I’m going to tgive some of the products a try.

  10. Elizabeth says:

This is a total scam/con. It is not what was originally touted on TodayTonight – the so-called Opal A. You cannot believe anything on their facebook page. Staff members, family, friends etc pose as consumers. Like many others I too fell for it – it does nothing, absolutely nothing except line their pockets.

    • Bright says:

Let me clarify I’m not a promoter of this product at all. but just been sorry that it doesn’t work for you.

    • Jessica says:

I highly doubt that all of the posts on their fb site are staff members, family or friends posing as consumers. Have you seen how many there are?! I know people who have posted on the page and they are not related to the company at all. Just because the products didn’t work for you doesn’t mean they haven’t worked for others. I presonally have tried the products and love them and I think they face cream is amazing! Results will probably be different for everyone.

      • Marty Roach says:

        Hi Jessica

Our facebook site was officially launched around three weeks ago and we currently have over 7,000 people like our page. In a week after sending out our newsletter we received throusands and thousands of posts on our wall. At one stage we literally had trouble reading all of them they were coming in so quickly. Consumers are free to post whatever information they like on our products both positive and negative. Fortunately it has been overwhelmingly positive.

  11. Elizabeth says:

OPAL-A no way!!! Janette Mcarthur has stated yesterday on the below website and I quote ‘McArthur Natural Products does not use Opal A in any of our products’ http://beyond2010.com/blog/2010/10/20/skin/
Some other very unhappy people like myself have commented and makes for interesting reading. You can also watch the video in which Ton Mcarthur categorically talks about Opal-A which is the product that myself and so many others ‘thought’ we were purchasing. I repeat what I stated above – total scam/con and I now add FRAUD!!!

    • Marty Roach says:

Firstly thanks to Bright MashUp for posting this video on your site, hopefully some of the success stories on our facebook site originated from here.

Whilst it is great to see people talking about our products it is necessary for me to clarify some of the points made on this site:

      1. McArthur Natural Products do not contain Opal-A. We have never claimed that our products contain Opal-A. Tom invented Opal-A to 2003. The Today Tonight segment mentions Tom’s previous invention, although Tom never refers to Opal-A. Today Tonight were not paid for the segment and were free to put together whatever information they thought appropriate.

      2. The people shown on Today Tonight that Tom was shown visiting were using products containing McArthur Pawpaw Extract™ found in McArthur Natural Products. Tom was not using Opal-A in the Today Tonight segment.

      3. In Tom’s experience correct product application is important. If customers do not follow product application instructions, then they may not be maximising the use of our natural products and desired results.

      4. The feedback on our products has been overwhelmingly positive. Since the official launch of our facebook site we have received thousands of wall posts with some amazing stories. However, individual results may and do vary.

We encourage any people who have any queries to call me (Marty) on 1300 309 105. Alternatively visit our facebook site to decide for themselves whether the products are having a positive influence on many people’s lives.

  12. Peter O'mara says:

Elizabeth, How about you put your real name up so we can all see who you really are. Because of your post I have taken the time to view all the episodes, there are a few you know and I can’t see where you have managed to get so mixed up. What is your reason for slandering this great Australian? What where you using it for? I have the cream and I can’t see anywhere on it where it says that it will cure verbal diarrhoea, which is what you are obviously suffering with.
Like the other lady said on the other website that you so kindly provided the link to, “if it didn’t work then say so and move on” some of us have benefitted beyond our expectations. So finally you nasty piece of work how about you shrivel up and crawl back under that rock you came out of. Shame shame shame

  13. Elizabeth says:

Martin Roach and anyone interested – I suggest you click on the below link and read the transcript of the Today Tonight show broadcast on 5th October last year http://au.news.yahoo.com/today-tonight/latest/article/-/8073973/paw-paw-man/ and then tell me that Tom doesn’t mention OPAL-A??????
I then suggest you watch the video on top of the website at http://beyond2010.com/blog/2010/10/20/skin/ About half way through Tom categorically states ‘he called it OPAL-A’. As of yesterday the above video was on the home page of your webpage.
Myself and many many others (thousands I suggest) watched those shows, sent emails, were contacted, prepaid and ordered Mcarthur Natural Products then waited weeks for it to arrive based on those videos from Today Tonight. Based on OPAL-A – that is the product we all believed we were purchasing and you are well aware of that. As for your facebook page I have seen the most outrageous statements made on there and don’t believe one word of it and I know for a fact that a particular staff member posts on there frequently and has never revealed that she works for the company????
I am a pensioner and there would be many many pensioners like myself who do not use computers who would have forked out 1/3 of their weekly pension on this ‘stuff’. How would you like to lose 1/3 of your weekly wage on something that is NOT what you thought and were led to believe you had ordered (Opal-A) and for which you have had absolutely no results whatsoever!!!!
    I will repeat CON/SCAM/FRAUD!!!!
Peter O’Mara (if that is your real name) I truly don’t give a damn what you think.

  14. Bright says:

Please find McArthur Natural ‘s Facebook
    http://www.facebook.com/mcarthurnaturalproducts
If you want to connect with the owner of this product

  15. Sandra Hutchinson says:

    Mr O’mara

Is it really necessary to accuse that lady of slander and to be so rude and insulting? Quite obviously she feels that she has paid for a product that did not work for her and nowhere on the McArthur site was mention made that it may not work because of blood or skin type! Rightly or wrongly she felt she was getting Opal A (or the pink goo shown on telly). Personally I couldn’t be bothered reviewing the sensationalist hyped up Today/Tonight segments but I also found that the products – and I used them all- did NOT work for me. Nothing! Zilch! If others have had good results well that’s fine with me too.

  16. Marty Roach says:

    Hi Elizabeth

At the risk of repeating myself:

McArthur Natural Products do not contain Opal-A. We have never claimed that our products contain Opal-A. Tom invented Opal-A to 2003. The Today Tonight segment mentions Tom’s previous invention, although Tom never refers to Opal-A. Today Tonight were not paid for the segment and were free to put together whatever information they thought appropriate.

As stated above this comment is categorically incorrect “half way through Tom categorically states ‘he called it OPAL-A’.” Tim Noonan makes this comment referring to Opal-A, which Tom invented prior to 2003.

Thank you for your reference to our facebook site and I encourage anyone after information on our products to join in the discussion or read through some of the thousands of posts.

    Marty.

  17. Elizabeth says:

Firstly, I would like to thank you, Bright, for the opportunity you have given me to ‘have a voice’ and I wish you every success in the future.

Secondly, in reply to Marty Roach. After many enquiries over a lengthy period of time on your facebook page/other websites regarding Opal-A it was not disclosed that these products do not contain Opal-A until Janette Mcarthur posted as such on http://beyond2010.com/blog/2010/10/20/skin/ on 16th September. This of course, at last, led to you having to go public and follow suit. I also must wonder how TodayTonight even knew about Opal-A if not through Tom and will leave readers to come to their own conclusions re the two TodayTonight segments screened last October, the links to which I have supplied in my above post. Were we or were we not misled/misinformed??? Intentionally/unintentionally??? At no time since then until recently, as stated, were we ‘enlightened’ as to these new products not containing Opal-A. I will also take up your comments re how TodayTonight put together their segments etc. with them, in due course.

Thirdly and finally, regarding your facebook site. As of around the middle of last month there were about 500 hits on your site. After some very negative comments/postings I congratulate you on your very clever marketing ploy whereby you started a competition. Within an amazingly short period of time you had thousands of hits on your site. We are all aware of how, sometimes, things on facebook just go viral. I will also leave that to the readers to again come to their own conclusions.

Through the generosity of Bright and the information on the Beyond2010 website I do believe that myself and so many others now and in the future have the answers they were seeking and for some continue to seek.

  18. Marty Roach says:

    Elizabeth

I’m all for people having their say, however, it is very disappointing that I have to come on to various websites to correct inaccuracies that you have posted. The facts are that McArthur Natural Products have never stated that our products contain Opal-A. Your following statement is false:

“Secondly, in reply to Marty Roach. After many enquiries over a lengthy period of time on your facebook page/other websites regarding Opal-A it was not disclosed that these products do not contain Opal-A until Janette Mcarthur posted as such on http://beyond2010.com/blog/2010/10/20/skin/ on 16th September. This of course, at last, led to you having to go public and follow suit.”

The following comment was posted on our official McArthur Natural Products facebook site (by me) on the 15th of August 2011:

“McArthur Natural Products does not use Opal-A. McArthur Natural Products was a process invented by Tom’s late wife, Lynda McArthur. In Tom’s opinion McArthur Natural Products are the best natural products he has been involved with.
    August 15 at 1:00pm ·”

At McArthur Natural Products our main objective is helping people. I cannot do this if I am responding to incorrect and inaccurate comments on a number of websites. Given that I have conclusively proven a number of your statements to be false, then I consider our communication at an end.

Our facebook site has now over 8,235 fans and thousands of posts from our customers. I’m happy to let our customers “do the talking for us” and would encourage anyone interested in our products to join in the discussions and find out for themselves how our products are having an impact on people’s lives.

Marty Roach – Marketing and Communications Manager – McArthur Natural Products.

  19. Elizabeth says:

Congratulations AGAIN Marty!!! Feel free to copy and paste your above mentioned post from your facebook page on 15th August as I for one am not wading back through the sometimes hilarious claims made after you started up the competition just AFTER the 15th August. If that is the case one can’t help but ask why you did not reveal such in your above post on 21 September or your post on 20th September on the Beyond2010 website or again why Janette Mcarthur didn’t disclose as such in her post on 16th September on the Beyond2010 website??? Strange!!! You may very well have posted it but NOT the first line ‘Mcarthurs Natural Products does not contain Opal-A’. At the risk of repeating myself – myself and thousands of others contacted Tom Mcarthur after the two TodayTonight shows last October. In all the follow up emails, pre-ordering, pre-paying, waiting, receiving the goods etc not once were we informed that this was not the product being shown and discussed on the above mentioned TodayTonight shows.
Feel free to get on with ‘helping’ people Marty as I have no intention of posting anything anywhere until I have been in contact with Today Tonight to get their feedback on your above comments re the ‘putting together’ of their October shows.
